The healthcare system needs drastic change, not a little here or there.

Why shouldn't innovators get a return on their investment?

Why should they take advantage of people in need of a drug to live a healthy or to live? They have us by the coconuts and they know it. I think you do too, but somehow try to defend them.

That you see ROI as 'taking advantage of people' reveals your economic ignorance and bleeding heart.

You fail to see that what initially appears to be stopgap measure will soon balloon to a massive government bureaucracy.

When has any government program actually worked as designed?

Tis a slippery slope that need not be trod.

Theres a difference between getting your cut and double dipping. I dont give too shits how much a CEO of a drug company makes, I do care about the people who some months have to choose between a medicine they need or food. Theres nothing right about that, so lets not pretend that it is. Call it bleeding heart, I just dont want to hear anything more from you on morality on another issue in the future. You want to [censored] and moan about gun rights but not about rights that really matter to most.

You are speaking out of both sides of your mouth. Who gets to decide how much a company charges for it's product? You? The government?

Why even make an effort to bring a product to market given such conditions?

Stop relying on emotion and use logic.

If its so fair then why is healthcare one of the biggest issues/problems according to the American people? You should use that line thinking the next time you bring up your gun rights rant.

Life isn't fair Skippy, and no amount of government meddling will make it so.

Why is healthcare an issue? Far too many stand with their hands outstretched asking government what it is going to do for them.

Far too few are standing with their hands in their pockets asking government what it isn't going to do for them.

Bob...give me one real world example where trickle-down economics works. Since you're such the capitalist, shouldn't be too hard. I'm curious here.
